Deer Hunts

Our deer hunting days start well before sunrise with coffee to get you going.  Then we transport each hunter to his or her stands before sunrise.  From this point we let the hunters decide how they want to proceed for the remainder of the day.  For lunch, our guides pick you up at 12 noon and transport you back to the lodge.  (Lunches can also be packed for those who wish to hunt all day.)  Then we return you to the stand for the afternoon hunt.  After the hunt is done and the sun has set, everyone is transported back to the lodge for that home cooked meal.

All of our gun hunts are SHOTGUN ONLY!! (slugs or buckshot)

We offer two types of turkey hunts: self-guided and guided hunts.  Our self-guided hunts let you do all the calling and move on the birds at your own pace.  We will show you where most of the birds are roosting and all of the property lines.  On these hunts, you provide your own food; but, you can use our kitchen for all of your meals or you can run to town and try some of the local restaurants.  

Our guided hunts start off very early, getting to the area where we hopefully roosted a bird the night before.  From that point, you and your guide can plan out the hunt.  You will then return at noon for lunch and decide how to enjoy your afternoon.  

All of our turkey hunts run from 30 minutes before sunrise till 12 noon for the first part of the season.  The last two weeks you can hunt all day.  If you are looking for something to do in the afternoons, we have a 50-acre stocked pond with 2 boats so you can wet a line.  You will have the chance to catch Florida strain large mouth bass, Georgia  giant bream, and some speckle.
