A Family Tradition

My brothers and I started this business back in 2001, but hunting has been on our family farm for 5 generations.  It  is hard to believe we are going on 20 years!  It must be true what they say "Time flies when you're having fun".  When we started, we ran everything out of our log cabin.  The cooking and laundry were all in this small space.  This only lasted about a year until we closed in the shed out back which became the bunkhouse.  It had 6 beds and 1 bath.  Over the years, we have added another room to the bunkhouse and 2 more bathrooms.  In 2009, we built the Lodge and this is where we host all of our hunters.  We built a commercial kitchen and laundry room there as well.  About 3 years ago, we finished the room upstairs which is now the "honeymoon suite". In the past couple of years we have turned to doing a lot more timber management to hold our deer population.  This, coupled with the amount of food plots and mineral plots that we have strategically placed around the property, should help secure great hunting for generations to come.
